Good Shepherd Preschool offers both morning and afternoon classes in your choice of 2, 3 or 5 day schedules. Morning sessions run from 9:15AM to 11:45AM and afternoon sessions run from 1:00PM to 3:30PM. Many of the classes are full at this time but we do take names for a waiting list.
Rainbows: The class option for our youngest students, ages 2 & 3. Children must be 2 years old by August 1st. This class is available 2 days a week T-Th, or 3 days per week M-W-F. Children do not have to be potty trained to join this class. This is primarily a social and emotional class. Children work through separating from parents and learning to take direction from adults outside of the family. They learn how to play with others and develop social skills. Children also work on self-help skills such as potty training, hand washing and taking responsibility for our belongings. We also prioritize both fine motor and gross motor development. Academically we focus on basic colors and shapes along with appreciation of literature. We are a play based environment and our goal is to ready them for their future years of school. The maximum number of children in this class is 10 with 2 teachers.
The 3 day AM class is currently full for the 2018-19 school year.
The 2 day AM class is currently full for the 2018-19 school year.

Sunshines: Our next age level of classes offered for children of 3 and 4 years of age. Again children must be 3 by August. 1st. This class is also offered 2 days a week T-Th, or 3 days per week, M-W-F. Children must be potty trained to enroll in this class, however we do understand that accidents do happen every now and again. This is a play based class where we begin foundations of reading through exploring the alphabet and fine motor development as part of pre-writing skills. Sunshines focus on self-help skills such as taking care of their belongings, putting on their own coats, independence in bathrooming etc. Children develop social skills and learn how to get along with and respect their peers. Children begin basic math skills such as one to one correspondence, sorting and patterns. This is not a class where children will be sitting down with a pencil and paper but a class where we will learn to appreciate learning while developing important skills through books, art and play. The maximum number of children in this class is 10 with one teacher.
